I carry the agonizing, holy desperation of Psalm 51:11 — possessing a sacred terror of living even a single second cast away from His presence or stripped of His Holy Spirit. The wealth of Egypt and the milk and honey of the Promised Land are completely worthless if the Guide is not walking by my side across the rugged terrain of this fractured world.
I anchor my soul to the radical standard of Genesis 5:24 — determined to leave a legacy of daily companionship that endures until my individual identity is completely consumed by the Divine presence.
